Getting to CBX from Temecula

Cross Border Xpress (CBX) is the pedestrian bridge on the US side of the border that connects directly to Tijuana International Airport. Many travelers use it for flights within Mexico and to Latin America. We drop you at the CBX building on the US side, and you walk across the bridge to your terminal with your boarding pass and CBX ticket.

On the way home we pick you up at CBX on the US side and drive you back to the Temecula Valley. Private rides are available in both directions.

How booking your CBX ride works

Start in the search box at the top of this page. Choose Airport Shuttle, enter your pickup address in the Temecula Valley (or pick CBX as your pickup if you are flying home), choose your date and the number of passengers, and you will see the options available for that trip with an instant price. Prices come straight from our live booking system, so the number you see is the number you book.

At checkout you add your contact details, luggage, and — for airport trips — your airline and flight number. We check the flight against the date you picked and the airport on your booking, and if something does not match you will see a clear warning so you can fix a typo before it becomes a problem. Your booking then appears in My Trips, where you can view your receipt, update passenger details and, within our travel policy, make changes yourself. Our dispatch team reviews every booking and assigns your driver and vehicle.

Shared shuttle or private ride?

A shared shuttle is our lowest fare. You ride with a few other travelers, and you can meet the van at the South Temecula Park & Ride on Temecula Parkway or add a home or hotel pickup for an additional charge based on location. Shared seats are sold per person, so they work well for solo travelers and couples. For shared rides to Cross Border Xpress (CBX), pick your time. A shared run is confirmed once enough riders book. If not enough book by 48 hours before departure, it's cancelled and you won't be charged. Search your date and time for available runs and pickup options.

A private ride is just your group, picked up at your door at the time you choose. You are not waiting on other passengers or extra stops, which matters when you have an early flight, young kids, or a lot of luggage. Private pricing is per vehicle, so for families and groups it is often close to the cost of several shared seats. Our fleet runs from Lexus sedans for up to three passengers to minivans, nine-passenger Transit vans and a fourteen-passenger Transit van, so we can match the vehicle to your group.

Tips for an easy trip

• Book as early as you can — shared runs have limited seats and private vehicles are assigned first come, first served.
• Enter your airline and flight number at checkout so dispatch has your flight details on your booking.
• Count your bags honestly at checkout. Luggage allowances depend on passenger count, and telling us up front lets us send a vehicle with room for everything.
• Bring your passport and buy your CBX bridge ticket before you travel; we take you to the CBX building, not across the border.
